Sudasa Brata

Sudasha Brata is a unique ritual in Odisha dedicated to Goddess Lakshmi, observed during a rare combination of Shukla Paksha, Thursday, and Dashami. Women tie a sacred thread with ten knots, chanting ten different names of the goddess, praying for family well-being. They wear the Sudasha thread until the next observance, replacing it with a new one.
